About Me

Hello there! Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my website. I'm Zara, a reiki healer based in Manchester, UK. Since I was little, I had a calling to heal people, the planet and the animals we share our home with. I came across reiki therapy a few years ago and I resonated with it immediately. I decided to take the leap and become a certified reiki healer. I studied with my wonderful teacher, Gouri (@lalkitherapy) in Manchester over the span of a couple of years and have obtained Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2 certificates. I'm so happy to be able to share the wonders of reiki with you. 

What is reiki? 

Reiki is a holistic, complementary therapy. The word reiki is Japanese for "universal life force energy". Universal life force energy is present in all living things. Different life experiences can cause certain stressors or anxieties to become stored in the body, which can

minimise universal life force energy from freely flowing through us. Therefore, I channel this energy and use my intuition to help release emotional blockages or patterns that are no longer serving your overall health and well being. During a reiki session, you will be asked to lie on a comfortable massage table with a blanket over you. I will use my hands to lightly touch or hover over certain parts of your body to promote deep healing. My sessions are a relaxing, peaceful and safe space for clients. The session is about you, your comfort and what you need in the present moment.
